Case Study
Mr F was admitted to London Bridge Hospital for a total knee replacement. Following his surgery we taught Mr F how to walk again and practiced a range of exercises that allowed him to regain muscle function and range of movement around his knee. He achieved a knee bend of 90 degrees and was able to walk with elbow crutches while demonstrating a correct gait pattern. After Mr F was taught how to climb the stairs he went home with a plan to continue his rehabilitation in our outpatient physiotherapy department.
