Overview

The Physiotherapy Department at London Bridge Hospital offers a full range of physiotherapy services for both inpatients and outpatients.

We have an experienced team of Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists in outpatients who treat a wide range of problems from sports injuries right through to post-operative rehabilitation following back surgery.

The Outpatient Department is equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment, including core stability equipment and computerised-video analysis.

Our inpatient team provides input to those who are admitted to the hospital and require physiotherapy or occupational therapy services. They provide treatment for patients who have undergone a wide range of procedures including cardiac, orthopaedic and neurological surgery.

Patients receive appropriate treatment and rehabilitation and, in preparation for their discharge, are given advice and a programme of exercises. Local patients may then continue physiotherapy on an outpatient basis.

Our aim is to provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of your individual problem, followed by a course of treatment tailored to your needs. This may include manual therapy, soft tissue massage, electrotherapy or accelerated rehabilitation in our state-of-the-art multi-sport gymnasium.
